There are so many objects, characters, food, rides, colors and more when it comes to going to a carnival, fair and circus. I spent hours upon hours searching for clip arts and photographs in google searches and on pinterest. I was looking for different things to get inspired in this Carnival Blog Hop.
From cotton candy, funnel cakes, tilt-a-whirls, ferris wheels, clowns, lions, ring leaders, flying trapeze artists, cake walks, ticket stubs, hay, seals balancing balls on their heads, candy, soda, popcorn.....
I came across this photo on google.

I then was thinking of the shapes of my sea glass and rondelle crystals. All of a sudden I'm looking at the hot dog and the RED donut sea glass beads.
H~O~T~D~O~G!
Sorry it's not the best picture. I added 4 red donut beads onto an eyepin & wire wrapped the other end. I found some japanese seed beads in my stash for the color of the hot dog bun. Scoured some more & found some beads for mustard & relish.
Surprisingly I had this hot dog finished about a week after receiving the kit.
I was carnival blocked up until 2 weeks before the reveal. I had to do something more considering I had only used 4 beads from the kit so far....

I love your idea of knots made of a variety of intermingled threads and also using one more technique - crochet! You came up with a very interesting construction for the chicklet as a focal!
